I'm not going to lie. After reading a few reviews on here, I wasn't going to give Model a chance. But I took my chances and it was a great experience. My car was a complete mess, radio not working and not installed, driver window not working, after market audio system leftovers and a few other things out of wack! A complete mess!!
These guys are the best. They installed a remote starter and cruise control on an older Toyota Corolla we purchased in 2016 and did a beautiful job at a reasonable price. They also have a great selection of electronics in their store. More recently, we purchased a 2014 RAV4 from Prestige Toyota, and their service department in Mahwah installed a remote starter for us before we took the car home. Toyota did a terrible job, leaving electrical tape all around the ignition and completely covering the ignition illumination ring, and said there was nothing they could do to make it look better. So we took it down the street to Model Electronics and they were kind enough to fix it for us for free. Now we can see the ignition at night and don't have ugly electrical tape sticking out all round the keyhole. Thank you, Model Electronics!

Excellent service and for an excellent price. I got a backup camera installed and it was done a lot quicker than I expected. Dan was very courteous and professional, and Andy was always quick to respond to my emails and get me the best price around. The waiting area is super comfortable and overall it's a great atmosphere there. I would recommend this place to anybody.
I wanted a remote car starter. Did some research, found the best one (Viper). Stopped by on a Friday met with Andy. He recommended the same one at a fair price. Made an appointment for Monday at 8:30. Instal took about 3 1/2 hours which is what he said it would take. I waited for it, had some coffee, watched tv. Showed me how to use it. DONE. Real professionals!. Works great. Turns on the car from my second story apartment.
During the process, Andy at the front desk was great, he kept me informed of each and every mess they were finding. He gave me a solution and price at once with no hesitation. Yes, the bill was not what I was expecting, but neither all the problems they found. So overall a highly recommend Model, they are GM certified and know what they are doing.
