I placed an online order for delivery for a sandwich and 2 milkshakes. A little over an hour and a half went by and i FINALLY recieved... A cold sub (that should have been HOT) that i paid over $12 for and two liquidy, lukewarm shakes. We only live 10 minutes away, so i have to say i expected MUCH better service. Definitely reconsidering ordering from CARS in the future.
While this place can't compare to the Rutgers grease trucks (which it imitates with its "fat" sandwiches), it is not too far off. When I want to feel like I am back down in New Brunswick, I just cruise over to Cars and order my favorite - the Fat Hawk. Great sandwich.
Great place. Great staff. Great food. I was served by CJ at the counter and he is probably one of the greatest guys I have met here.
Terrible people running this place. Especially in ramsey. They be kicking kids out for trying to order mac n cheese bites. 1/1000 recommend. Tell the manager the people working in ramsey should all be fired. P.S got me a probation for 1 year
ordered an online order and it has been over 2 hours and my food still has yet to arrive. When i called to see if my order was in its way (I usually receive a confirmation email and i never received one why which is why i called) nobody answered. I called again a women answered and confirmed it was leaving the restaurant only 1 hour and 30 minutes after i places the order, she said another half an hour... its been 50 minutes and still no food! One time i ordered over grubhub and my food just never arrived, when i called to see if my food was close they were already closed. great food but absolutely terrible service.
