They run lunch specials each weekday that are a good bargain, and they always have dinner specials on the menu as well. I find two of their staples items -- hot and sour soup and pork fried rice -- to be especially good. I have yet to order an entrée that I didn't think was excellent.
Simply the best Chinese food for miles around. My colleagues and I order from here so much, they know each of our name. The shrimp with broccoli w/White rice is my favorite as is the house fried wontons. Also they are super friendly and helpful.
Takeout on 6/30/17. Possibly the worst Chinese take out in Bergen County. Dumplings were awful, doughy and the dipping sauce making things go from bad to worse. BBQ spare ribs char burnt and mediocre at best in flavor - sadly the best dish. The Pork Egg Roll was inedible and the pork fried rice was flavorless unless you count the flavor of what might be described as two-day old reheated rice.
So, I used to live in Ramsey and this place was the one we used when the tastebuds called for Chinese food. All was great back then. Last week we have revisited the takeout place again and saw that it has changed. Completely different people work there and the Food suffered tremendously. I no longer recommend it to anyone. We had dry duck, hunan chicken that tasted off and had 3 pieces of broccoli with hard as a rock chicken, burned fried rice and hot and sour soup with so much tofu you could not reach the bottom of the container with your spoon. The place had 4 children running without shoes all over the back area and it looked plain dirty with staff that did not care. Too bad.
Order food at about 630 pm online, just got it at 821pm stone cold , thanks a lot !
When I first moved into the area years ago, I tried every take-out Chinese food place within a certain radius. While some of Good Taste's competitors are good, in my estimation this place certainly tops them, and hence I've been a loyal customer to them ever since I first tried the place. I eat Chinese take out fairly regularly, and I consider my standards for it to be high. While their name isn't exactly creative (or a traditional Chinese restaurant name), it certainly does relay accurate information about their food. I find it to be consistently excellent. It is also quickly prepared and reasonably priced.
